Madyson :: Happy Belated Thanksgiving!!!2008-12-01
 Wow, it has been quite some time since I have been able to write and catch up with you! First of all I want to wish you a very Happy though Belated, Thanksgiving! I was lucky enough to be able to spend it with my sister. In fact, I just returned home last night. My trip was a bit of an adventure as I had 3 connecting flights (both ways), 2 delays, and 2 date proposals (1 on the way to my sisters and 1 on the way back home). Granted, the 2 boys who asked me out were much, much younger and I caught them both fibbing to me! The first approach was from a boy who decided it was a good idea to come sit right beside me when there were plenty of available seats elsewhere. He then proceeded to interrupt my reading (I was even wearing earphones) by asking me random questions! I was polite and responded to him and then drew my attention back to my book. He didn't get the hint and continued on. He asked me what I was studying (I had my accounting book in front of me), if I liked it, when I would graduate, etc. He then proceeded to tell me that he too was an accounting student and that he went to UNLV. Call it intuition but I had a feeling that he wasn't telling me the truth. Based on my suspicion, I decided to ask him about his accounting program and which courses he had taken thus far. I couldn't help but smile when he began stammering and stalling as he didn't have an answer. He didn't have an answer because he wasn't, and has never been, an accounting student! Ha! I didn't do it to be mean my gentlemen, I did it so he would let me be. Suffice it to say, it worked. He then feigned thirst and left to get something to drink. I smiled and went back to my reading. :) I will save the other story for you for when I see you next. I do realize that I had planned to be with you 2 weeks ago but I need to call tech support and have them help me get all these new updates and issues resolved. Can we please cross our fingers in the hope that tomorrow evening will be a go? :) I hope that each of you had a great turkey day. If you were anything like me, then you ate yourselves into a temporary turkey-induced food coma! I ate sooooo much.. My sister and I woke up early and began cooking at 8 am. We cooked a 21 lb. turkey! It was huge and quite tasty if I do say so myself. In fact, it was so tasty that I could hardly move after dinner except for when it came time for dessert! :) Now here I am beginning my holiday baking. Who wants cookies and fudge? :) Oh, the appreciation show has not been forgotten, I just haven't had the manpower nor the time to devote to a proper appreciation show. So, we may combine the x-mas show and the anniversary show together. My Tweek, I know your birthday is this month as well! The 29th? I do miss you very much and want to be with you more than you know. I have just never experienced a semester like this before. Lucky for me, it appears my last semster will not nearly be as bad. :) Ok gentlemen, it is time for me to get my day started as I have class soon. I do hope to see you tomorrow evening. Miss you very, very much. Love, Mady
